A Brief summary

Here is a brief summary of some of our activities so far this summer. After a steady start to the year, from may onwards and up until the present time (August) we at M.R.Investigations have seen enquiries and investigations increase immensely.

We have had many infidelity enquiries come in with most of them ending up with a surveiilance operation to get to the truth. Unfortunately many times the suspicions have been found to be correct and we have obtained the crucial evidence by means of video and stills images all backed up with time and date stamps.

We have also seen this summer, a marked increase in employee investigations. Usually when an employer doubts the employees claims of injuries or sickness. Or, that they are doing work on the side (Moonlighting). The sad fact is that in nearly all of these cases the suspicions of the employer have been proven. We have followed some of these employees for days watching them go about their daily duties unhindered and in a lot of cases spritely, only for them to go to the doctors, walk into the surgery slowly, as if in some pain and great difficulty, only to come out from the appointment totally rejuvenated and spritely clutching another sick note!

Tracing enquiries have slowed right down this summer for some reason. We still get enquiries asking for things that are illegal and usually a breach of the data protection act. In most cases this isn’t intentional on the perspective client’s part, it’s usually because they were not aware it was illegal and when we point this out they are usually very apologetic and then we can usually come to a legal solution to their problems.

Although this summer has been far from good, there has been some very hot days, spare a thought for our investigators that are in the back of a surveillance vehicle for up to 12 hours a day with little ventilation and no air conditioning as they watch an address or workplace whilst the outside temperature is 25 oC This is not for the feint hearted.
